Method for cleaning and descaling industrial air conditioner condenser

Condensers are prone to scale formation in the pipes after long-term use. If they are not treated in time, these scales will affect the heat exchanger effect and cause the condensing temperature of the unit to increase, which in turn will reduce the cooling capacity and increase the power consumption of the unit. Therefore, the condenser should be cleaned frequently.

There are roughly three methods to prevent and remove scale:

1. Mechanical descaling method:

Mechanical descaling is a method of descaling the condenser of the steel cooling tube with a flexible shaft tube washer, especially suitable for vertical shell and tube condensers.

The method of operation is:

1. Pump out the refrigerant in the condenser.

2. Close all the valves connecting the condenser and the refrigeration system.

3. The cooling water of the condenser is supplied normally.

4. The bevel gear-shaped scraper connected with the flexible shaft tube washing device rotates and removes the scale from top to bottom in the stand pipe of the condenser, and uses circulating cooling water to cool the heat generated by the friction between the scraper and the pipe wall, and at the same time The cleaned scale, rust and other dirt are flushed into the pool.
In the descaling process, the hob of the appropriate diameter is selected according to the thickness of the condenser, the rust degree of the tube wall and the length of the used life, but the hob of the selected hob in the first descaling has a larger diameter than the cooling tube The inner diameter should be appropriately small to prevent damage to the pipe wall, and a hob close to the inner diameter of the cooling pipe is used for the second descaling. These two descaling can remove more than 95% of the scale and rust on the condenser.

This mechanical descaling method is to use the rotation and vibration of the bevel gear hob in the process of rotating and feeding in the cooling tube to remove the scale and rust in the condenser cooling tube. After the descaling is completed Pump out all the water in the condensing pool, clean up the dirt, rust and other dirt removed from the bottom of the pool, and refill it with water.

2. Chemical pickling and descaling method:

Clean the condenser with the prepared weak acid scale remover to make the scale fall off and improve the heat transfer efficiency of the condenser.

The method of operation is:

1. Prepare the descaling solution in the pickling tank, start the pickling pump, and make the descaling solution circulate in the condenser tube for 24 hours. Under normal circumstances, the scale is basically removed after 24 hours.

2. After stopping the pickling pump, use a round steel brush to pull back and forth in the tube wall of the condenser, and wash away the scale and rust with water.

3. Use clean water to repeatedly wash the descaler solution remaining in the tube until it is completely clean. The chemical pickling and descaling method is suitable for vertical and horizontal shell and tube condensers.
3. Electronic magnetic water descaling method:

The working principle of the electronic magnetic water heater is to dissolve the calcium, magnesium and other salts in the cooling water flowing through the condenser in the state of positive and negative ions at room temperature.

When the cooling water flows through the transverse magnetic field of the water magnet at a certain speed, the dissolved calcium and magnesium plasmas obtain induced electric energy, which changes the charge state, and the electrostatic attraction between the ions is disturbed and destroyed, which changes its The crystallization conditions make the structure of the crystal loose, and the tensile and compressive resistance are reduced, and the hard scale with strong cohesive force cannot be formed, and the loose sludge is discharged with the flow of cooling water.

This descaling method can not only effectively prevent the generation of new scale, but also remove the original scale, because after using the electronic magnetic water device, the ion loses the ability to form scale, which loses the protective effect on the original scale. In addition, the magnetized cooling water has a certain amount of inductive power. At the same time, due to the different expansion coefficients of the steel pipe in the condenser and the scale, the original scale gradually cracks, and the magnetized water continuously penetrates into the cracks and destroys The adhesion of the original scale makes it gradually loose and the descaling method of the electronic magnetic water device is simple and easy to implement, with low labor intensity, and descaling and preventing scaling without affecting the normal operation of the refrigeration system.
The significance of descaling and energy saving:

Once the condenser is scaled, the heat conduction resistance increases, so the thermal resistance increases, and the heat transfer coefficient value will decrease. Because the condensation temperature is inversely proportional to the heat transfer coefficient, the temperature of the condenser rises and the condensation pressure rises accordingly. And the more serious the condenser is fouling, the more condensing pressure will increase significantly, which will increase the power consumption of the refrigerator, and cause the corresponding increase in the power consumption of the operating equipment of the refrigeration system, resulting in waste of electricity.
